[Spirit Of The Forest]

Very new-agey with a touch of old flare. It definitely rings like a traditional dubstep track in the opening section while leading into new sections with touches of old school metal/rock. Makes very full sweeps into exploring the style. Have you ever considered laying vocals over this track? Could be a neat idea. Last thing; out of curiosity, what is the DAW you're using? Overall, nice mix, the low end is very well controlled.

It's not bad at all. I actually like ambient music, however I felt that this progression began to feel a little drab about a minute in and I'd have liked a new section to be thrown in to give me a little adventure to go on, you know? I felt like I was stuck in the same place here, which isn't a bad thing, but I like to go on journeys in music and I just felt that this journey wasn't too eventful. To give you some criticism that has actual application, I personally would've liked a "counter section", where it picks up in intensity and alters the chords you're using to give it more stress. I would suggest chords like dominant 7s, half-diminished 7s or fully diminished 7s. I mean, play around some and find what you like, as with all music, this is purely preference. I'm simply trying to provide you some decent feedback <3

[Horn Town [Happy Hardcore]]

I actually don't dislike the horn layers, what I'm taking issue with is the kick drum, your drum layer. It's so repetitive and can easily steal the attention of your listen. Zoning in on this element really takes you out of the feel. If I could make a suggestion, I'd say that you should mess with the velocities of you kick hits or possibly run a different drum patch that allows a little more variety in intensity of the drum hit. I could hear you making a Ska track much more successfully (purely in my opinion) than a techno track. I don't mean to knock you for experimentation, this is just my two cents.

thanks for the feedback, its good to find out how other people interpret things
i found with this track that my ear goes to the horns so didnt notice any repetitiveness in the drums
i do want to try this horn style track again maybe in trance or hardstyle so will bear what you say in mind

[Sunday Morning]

Very interesting composition. I enjoyed the almost child-like quality around it, while still having a somewhat sophisticated feel to it. Reminds me of a strange mixture of Surfer Rock type sounds spliced in with avant garde classical composition. Worth the listen. For criticism, I wish there were words! I wish there was an established vocal melody at least at some point within the track. I actually love instrumental music, but I can hear some very interesting characteristics here and I think vocal work would really liven it up. Just a thought. Keep up the good work man, it's hard out here <3

Lovely yo! Very nice composition. Minor thoughts on the bounce file itself, I think the source file is a little too quiet. Even though it sounds nice through my headphones, I think some might have trouble getting it to a nice volume through the medium they're listening on. I enjoyed the composition, but I think you could've used a few more obscure extensions of the chords you were using. Some dominant 7s, half-diminished, etc, in some other places in the song to give it a little more character. I'm not sure how long you've been a composer, but this is just my two cents. Everyone has their preference. Lovely composition, I hope she liked it!

Very nice chords in your pad. I like the techy sounding layers throughout the song. If I had to give criticism, I'd say that I want more. I like the slow build up but I wish it went into a more intense section. This track has potential and I can see it go further than it did. Overall, good job. I digg it!

I liked the progression itself. As for the bounce, I think it could've been a bit louder since no other elements of the song were introduced to make it much louder than it is. It's a simple volume thing so nothing really there. I like the lead line but I think as the song progressed it could've gotten more complex like putting another higher register piano line over the two lines going together, making the third piano line use more grace notes and things like eighth and sixteenth notes. Just a thought, I'm not sure what all you tried for the track. Anyway, there's my two cents. Overall good product.

Not bad, I think there's a lot this could go, however this itself is a bit simplistic. Which isn't a bad thing, I think it has the potential to be more than a loop. One of the things I had the hardest time with is full compositions, but I could hear more sections for this song and more layers. I'm not sure how experienced you are already but keep at this one, it's pretty odd compositionally and reminds me of some neat sounds, some of the music you hear in Final Fantasy 9 sounds a little like this. What's your DAW?

Very nicely done! It reminds me a little of some of the background music they put in Cowboy Bebop in the beginning. Small criticism, I thought it was a little bland as it got toward the end half of your section starting at 1:40. I like it, but I feel like you could've added a small extra layer to make your outro have a little bit more of a kick. Still hits the feels in a nice way. Nice track.
